We believe that collecting contemporary art is driven by one key factor: passion. Increasing that passion is our aim. To achieve this goal, we strive to share our passion with as many people as possible. Every collector is invited: to learn more about Toyism, to question it, to inspire and be inspired. We’re not on a mission, but if we can excite others so much that they start collecting themselves, we’ll grow even more passionate.

We are convinced: The most important skill that contemporary art collectors rely on is instinct. But information and contacts are a great help. Toyism Art is about making these accessible to everyone eager to share. We want to compile the perfect set of tools that we think all collectors should have at their disposal, whether they are new to collecting or experts: instinct, information and contacts.

For us, collecting is closer to hunting than to gathering, because that’s where the thrill is. And hunting is at its most thrilling outside traditional and protectionist structures. We are out to open up a new playing field full of fascinating opportunities and with a different set of rules. Enjoy!

Wij zijn van mening dat het verzamelen van hedendaagse kunst wordt aangedreven door een belangrijke factor: passie. Het verhogen van deze passie is ons doel. Om dit doel te bereiken, streven wij ernaar om onze passie te delen met zoveel mogelijk mensen. Elke verzamelaar wordt uitgenodigd: voor meer informatie over Toyisme te leren, om het te vragen, om te inspireren en geïnspireerd worden. We zijn niet op een missie, maar als we anderen kunnen inspireren dat ze zelf beginnen te verzamelen, raken we nog meer gepassioneerd.

Wij zijn ervan overtuigd: De belangrijkste vaardigheid waarop hedendaagse kunst verzamelaars vertrouwen is instinct. Maar informatie en contacten zijn ook van groot belang. Toyisme gaat over het voor iedereen toegankelijk maken en te willen delen. Kennis van het verzamelen van kunst die verzamelaars tot hun beschikking moeten hebben, ongeacht of ze nieuw zijn of deskundig, zoals instinct, informatie en contacten, zijn belangrijk om tot een goede keuze te komen.

We zijn uit op het openen van een nieuw speelveld vol met fascinerende mogelijkheden en met een andere set regels. Geniet!
