At the bullfights, la fiesta Brava in which there is a humiliation to bulls integrity, the poor bull is tortured before killing him. The bullfighter in the painting has a face that represents figuratively an expression who reflex he knows its wrong but he denies it for the sake of the fiesta Brava. So many people enjoy la fiesta Brava which make all of them guilty of that careless practice. In Mexico city there is a plaza, arena for 40,000 people to go and take a look at the torture and killing of the innocent beast. Like in a roman circus the face of dead shows its presence. There is a popular thought that says don’t do to the others what you wouldn’t like others do to you. The same for animals. There are animals tortured and killed unfairly all over the world today, everyday. They have rights that are not respected.
The face of the bull represents someone that you cannot tell who it is as a symbols that refers not to give importance to who we are doing it, the bulls, who will be ending their lives into a cruel torture.
After doing it people who goes to the bullfights enjoys wine and eat, nobody cares and they celebrate. There are people which goes to the bullfights for the first time and can’t stand the torture before the killing and they leave the arena. Sensitive people. There is a personal experience for everyone.
The sun represents the face of a divinity that doesn’t care about what is happening, like the idea of god’s cruel natural creation in which everything is included.

Tijdens de stierengevechten van het Brava feest waarin de stierenintegriteit tot vernedering leidt, wordt een arme stier mishandeld alvorens hij zal sterven. De stierenvechter in het schilderij heeft een uitdrukking op zijn gezicht dat duidelijk laat zien dat hij verkeerd bezig is, maar hij ontkent het voor het belang van het Brava feest. Veel mensen genieten van het Brava feest en dat maakt een ieder van hen schuldig. In Mexico city is een plein, een arena voor 40.000 mensen die naar de foltering en doden van het onschuldige beest gaan kijken. Zoals in een Romeins circus het gezicht van een dode zijn aanwezigheid toont. Er is een populair gezegde dat zegt – doe niet naar anderen wat u niet van anderen wilt dat zij u aandoen. Hetzelfde geldt voor dieren. Iedere dag worden er in deze wereld dieren gefolterd en gedood op een oneerlijke wijze. Hun rechten worden niet gerespecteerd.
