The sun has a comprehensive love. Her beams are like an eternal embrace. You can see how she brings two cars together upon her sunbeams. You might think she is wearing rose-tinted glasses and sees things in a more beautiful way than they really are. Aren’t cars just lifeless objects that cannot express feelings of love? Nevertheless, witness the flower-shaped exhausts, witness the new buds on the sunbeam-branches and the budding leaves of spring, and look at the happy angels! Isn’t all of this evidence of love?

Omarming in oneindigheid
De zon heeft allesomvattende liefde. Zijn stralen zijn als een omarming in oneindigheid.
Hier zie je hoe hij twee auto’s bij elkaar brengt op zijn zonnestralen. Wellicht denk je: hij heeft een roze bril op en ziet zaken mooier dan ze in werkelijkheid zijn. Auto’s zijn toch slechts levenloze voorwerpen, die geen uiting kunnen geven aan liefde?
Maar toch, zie de bloemvormige uitlaatgassen, zie de nieuwe knopjes aan de zonnestraaltakken, zie de opkomende lenteblaadjes, zie de blije engeltjes! Getuigt dit alles niet van liefde?
