The fact that this painting was created by four Toyist artists (Alfago, Dejo, Fihi and Jaf’r) working in conjunction makes it truly special. It shows four animal species (bird, fish, reptile and mammal) making music together in the form of musicians: the swan elegantly playing the harp, the octopus whose tentacles gently glide over the keys of the piano, the snake immersed in the sounds of the didgeridoo, and the monkey blowing on the trumpet while hanging by his tail. This rendition may or may not be heard by the audience.

Bijzonder aan dit schilderij is dat het is gemaakt door vier Toyisten, te weten Alfago, Dejo, Fihi, en Jaf’r. We zien 4 diersoorten als muzikanten (vogel, vis, reptiel en zoogdier) die gezamenlijk muziek maken. De zwaan die de elegant de harp bespeelt, de inktvis die zijn tentakels zachtjes over de toetsen van de piano laat glijden, de slang die geheel opgaat in de klanken van de didgeridoo, en de aap die hangend aan zijn staart op de trompet blaast. Een muziekstuk dat misschien wel, misschien niet te horen is bij de toeschouwers.
