Cluv

Cluv is a Mexican artist with Irish ascendance which has developed himself artistically trough his life in Mexico, being a musician since 13 years old, drawing since he was a child, he developed a free drawing style that later on he put it into canvas doing individual and collective exhibitions of his work in Mexico and the United States. Also a musical producer which owns a recording studio and a graphic artist.

Cluv is interested in expressing human condition, nature and religious issues which concern being human and became interested on being a toyist because he became identified with the characteristics of Toyism and its ideology to express himself artistically. The contrasting vivid colors, the free style drawing, the pursuit of composition, the humor, and the mix of symbolic figurative and abstract elements are some components he has always been interested in.

Cluv is een Mexicaanse kunstenaar met sterk de nadruk op Ierland die zichzelf artistiek door zijn leven in Mexico heeft ontwikkeld. Hij is een muzikant sinds zijn 13e jaar, tekenend al vanaf zijn kinderjaren, ontwikkelde hij een vrije tekenstijl dat hij later op het doek zette en exposeerde tijdens individuele en collectieve tentoonstellingen in Mexico en de Verenigde Staten. Naast grafisch kunstenaar is hij is ook een muzikale producent met een eigen opnamestudio.

Cluv is geïnteresseerd in menselijke gevoelswaarden, zoals natuur en godsdienstige kwesties die zijn menselijkheid aangaan en omdat hij zich geïdentificeerd voelt met de kenmerken en ideologie van Toyisme om zichzelf artistiek uit te drukken. De contrasterende sterke kleuren, de vrije stijl, de vervolging van de compositie, de humor en het mix van symbolische figuurlijke en abstracte onderdelen zijn sommige componenten waarin hij altijd is geïnteresseerd.
