The Dutch TT in Assen is all about motorcycles. Not only the motorcycles of the participants of the races but also the ones of the motorcycle enthusiasts who travelled on their bikes to Assen to see the races. On this sculpture we see the hero from Texas, cowboy Kevin Schwantz with his legendary number 34. But we can also see the motorcycle enthusiast who visit the TT. The Dutch TT has over the past 90 years become an international event that attracts many visitors. The heads on the edge of the sculpture are from small to large and therefore symbolize the growing audience. On the other side of the sculpture you can see the race in the background and the public has grown into a huge crowd.
